Description

The crista terminalis internally indicates the separation of the sinus venarum from the remainder of the anterior internal surface of the wall of the atrium and the right auricle. The sinus venarum is the smooth part of the wall of the right atrium. The right auricle and the anterior internal surface of the atrium have a trabeculated surface. It represents the cranial part of the right sinuatrial valve.
