Adipose connective tissue
Adipose connective tissue is basically a highly modified form of loose collagenous connective tissue. This is basically a loose connective tissue model in which the adipose cells have become greatly enlarged with fat stores in their lipid droplets. The enlarged adipose cells become the dominant feature of the tissue as they push the extracellular collagen between the cells into fibrous septa that separate the cells.
