Description
The obturator canal is the small arched opening through the superior aspect of the obturator fascia on the inner surface of the obturator internus muscle, over the obturator internus muscle and through a narrow gap in the top of the obturator membrane. It transmits the obturator vessels and nerve into the medial compartment of the thigh.
