Description
A thick, ring-like band that surrounds the head of the radius and anchors it into the radial notch of the ulna. It attaches to the anterior margin of the radial notch of the ulna and extends around the radial head to attach to the posterior margin of the notch.
Function
Anchors and stabilizes the proximal radioulnar joint.
